Yes. The MWCT Water Confidence Course is not a beginner swim class — it is a challenging, military-inspired water confidence and survival program designed for individuals who already have basic swimming ability. Participants must be able to: swim 150–200 yards (any stroke) without stopping, tread water and float comfortably, and submerge while staying calm.
Expect intense, structured, and disciplined training inspired by Marine Corps water survival methods. Training may include: swimming with bricks or weighted objects, treading or floating under stress, controlled underwater confidence drills, gear-based swims, breath control training, and stress exposure exercises — all conducted safely and progressively.
